How to Stop Windows Me From Showing the Log-on Screen

Windows Me, also known as Windows Millennium Edition, shows a log-on screen when it boots if you have a password configured. If you don't want to see the log-on screen and want Windows Me to boot straight to the desktop, you can disable the password to skip it. If the log-on screen is enabled, user profiles on the Windows Me system also have to be disabled. Once user profiles are disabled, all users using the Windows Me desktop will have the same desktop settings and preferences.
